What full tray resurfacing gives you
Consistent whole-tray finish
Treating the full tray makes sense when wear, staining or fading are spread across the surface.
Planned around the material
We assess adhesion, stability and older coatings before deciding how the work should proceed.
Quicker than replacement upheaval
Restoring the tray can cut the mess and downtime that come with removing the old one.
A fresh finish for a tired shower tray
Some shower trays are not badly cracked or broken. They are simply tired. The colour has dulled, stains no longer lift, the surface looks patchy and the whole shower starts to age the bathroom around it. That is where full resurfacing comes in. In Edinburgh, we use it for trays with extensive wear, discolouration or a finish that has generally lost its look. Instead of blending one small repaired area, we renew the tray as a whole. That gives a more consistent appearance and makes better sense when the wear is spread across the surface rather than limited to one isolated defect.

Prepared properly to cut avoidable downtime
Before any new coating goes on, we clean the tray thoroughly, prepare the surface, correct minor defects and mask the surrounding area carefully. We also look at the tray material, adhesion, previous coatings and overall stability, because those details affect how the resurfacing is planned and how well the final finish performs. The aim is not just to make the tray look brighter for a week. It is to restore it sensibly and get the shower back into use with as little disruption as possible. Once finished, we explain curing times and suitable aftercare so you know exactly how to protect the renewed surface.
